Part A. Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Core Courses (96 hours)

1. Peripheral/ Extremity  (3 days; 24 hours)

2. Lumbar Sacral Spine & Sacroiliac joint  (3 days; 24 hours)

3. Cervical Thoracic Spine & Ribcage (3 days; 24 hours)

4. Therapeutic Exercise Prescription - (24 H) Virtual Synchronous and Asynchronous

                    OMPT-Certification Examination (Required Courses OMPT 1-4)

Part B. Specialized Courses:  (80 hours)

1. Craniovestibular Assessment and Management  (2 days)

2. Musculoskeletal Dry Needling Certificate (3 days plus 24 hours self study)

3. Advanced Techniques: Temporomandibular, Spine and Extremities  (2 days)

Part C. MSK Core Courses Virtual Format (270 hours) 

1. Foundation of Orthopedic PT Practice 1 (45 hours)

2. Foundation of Orthopedic PT Practice 2 (45 hours)

3. Differential Diagnosis in Orthopedic PT Practice (45H)

                     MSK Certification Examination (Required Courses- MSK 1-3)

4. Pain Science and Pharmacology in Orthopedic Physical Therapy  (45H)

5. Imaging for the Musculoskeletal Physical Therapist (45H)         

6. Research and Evidence-Based Practice in Physical Therapy (45H)

Part D. Mentorship, Capstone and Experiential Learning Experience (215 Hours)

1. One -on-one Clinical Mentorship (40H)

2. Mentor Accessible Mentorship (Email, Zoom Teleconference- 110H)

3. Research-Capstone Project (45H)

4. Experiential Learning Experience (20 H)

Requirements for Diploma (Fellowship) graduation: 

1. Research Presentation during PAOMPT National Conference (Platform/Poster)
2. Publishable Research Paper (Minimum Case Report Series) 
3. Must pass the final Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)

Orthopedic Manual Therapy Certification Total Program Hours: 96 Hours

MSK Certification Total Program Hours: 135 hours

(Level 7 of PRC PQF) - Specialist Level

Diploma of Advanced OMPT (Fellowship) Total Program Hours:  661 hours

(Level 8 of PRC PQF) - Expert Level

*Dip. AOMPT graduates are eligible to apply as Fellow of he Philippine Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FPAOMPT).
